Edinburgh from the Calton Hilltitle from the Calton Hill"label QS:Len. Our painter follows the same logic rather than copying a photograph of it: the far distances go down cool and weak, the near ground stays loaded, and nothing is blended flat.

What makes it hard to copy

Landscape is the first thing printing ruins. The press gives you the same green at fifty metres as at five, and the whole point of the picture was that they are not the same green. A painter rebuilds that difference pass by pass, and the depth returns.

PriceOn request

Every canvas is painted to order, so the quote follows your size, frame and destination rather than a fixed list. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we reply with an exact figure, usually within the hour. You are buying from the workshop, not a catalogue.

Choosing a size

The canvas is cut to your wall. For reference, these are the dimensions clients request most:

Size (inches)Size (cm)Best for
32 × 24 in81 × 61 cmLiving room, above a sideboard
30 × 24 in76 × 61 cmDining room, bedroom feature wall
24 × 20 in60 × 50 cmStudy, home office, above a desk
20 × 16 in50 × 40 cmBedroom, hallway, above a console

Every size here is a guide. Tell us what you need and we will build the canvas to suit. Frames and delivery are priced once you have chosen them. Any duties or import taxes are payable by the buyer (DAP).

Where this one sits best

It sits naturally in a bedroom, opposite the foot of the bed. The painter works freehand on a blank canvas, so we keep the proportions of the original rather than cropping to fit — an unusually wide or tall composition stays honest at any size.

The practical questions

How do I know what size will look right?

Measure the wall and send a photograph. We will say honestly if the canvas you have in mind is too small for the space, which is the most common mistake.

What about duties and import taxes?

Those are the buyer's responsibility (DAP). The amounts are set by your customs authority, not by us.

What if my wall is an unusual shape?

That is normal for us. Send the measurements and we will work out a canvas proportion that suits the space.
