We are a real workshop inside Dafen Oil Painting Village, and we would rather you verify that than take our word for it. This page lists every way to check who we are — and exactly how your money is protected if you decide to order.

The fastest check

Ask us to walk through the studio, live

This is the one thing a fake shop can never do. Message us on WhatsApp and we will turn the camera on and show you the room where your painting will actually be made.

1. Message us

2. Live walk-through

We call you back on video and walk through the studio, the stock wall and the packing bench.

3. Your canvas, on camera

Once your order starts, we send progress photos, and a photo of your finished painting with your name on the parcel.

4. Then you pay the balance

70% to start, 30% only after you have seen and approved the finished painting.

We are also happy to be paid through a registered company bank account by T/T for larger orders. Ask us for the details and we will send them on company letterhead.

How your money is protected

You are never asked to trust us blindly

Every payment route we offer has a paper trail, and the balance is only due after you have seen the painting.

PayPal Buyer Protection

Retail orders are invoiced through PayPal. If a parcel does not arrive, or is not what was described, you can open a case and PayPal will adjudicate it. We ship with tracking on every order, which is what protects us both.

70% now, 30% on approval

You pay 70% to start the work. Before anything ships we send photographs of your actual finished painting. The remaining 30% is due only after you approve it.

Tracked worldwide shipping

Every parcel leaves with a tracking number that we send you. Nothing ships untracked.

Bank T/T for wholesale

For larger or repeat orders we accept T/T to our registered company account — and we give a 3% discount on T/T because it costs us less than card processing.

What we will not tell you

The honest limits

A shop that promises everything is usually the one to avoid. These are the things we will not say, even if it would make the sale easier.

We do not sell originals. Our reproductions are hand-painted copies of works by artists who died more than 70 years ago and whose paintings are in the public domain. We say so on every product page.

We do not issue fake certificates. We will not give you a "certificate of authenticity" claiming a hand-painted copy is an original, and we will not put a living artist's name to a copy.

We do not promise a refund if you simply change your mind on a custom painting, because it was painted for you and cannot be resold. What we do promise is that you approve photographs before shipping, and that we adjust the painting until you are happy with it.

Delivery dates are estimates. Painting time is ours to control; customs clearance and the carrier are not. We will always tell you the tracking and chase the parcel.

Import duties are the buyer's. Our prices are DAP — any customs duty or import tax in your country is payable by you on arrival.

Note on images: the artwork scans shown on our product pages are public-domain images of the original paintings, included for reference. The canvas you receive is hand-painted for you, and we photograph it for your approval before it ships.

If something goes wrong

What we actually do

Damaged in transit. Send us photographs within 48 hours of delivery. We repaint or replace the canvas. We pack to avoid it, but if the carrier damages it, that is on us to fix.

You are not happy with the painting. Tell us specifically what to adjust and we adjust it — that is exactly why we send photographs before shipping rather than after.

The parcel is late. We send you the tracking number and chase the carrier on our side. Painting time is ours; customs and the carrier are not.
