Émile Wauters opens the view wide here — Carmen gives you the place without putting anyone in it. The land is built in layers, each one a different temperature of the same colour, so the eye walks into the distance instead of stopping at the frame.
Carmen. Our painter follows the same logic rather than copying a photograph of it: the far distances go down cool and weak, the near ground stays loaded, and nothing is blended flat.

Why this one cannot be printed
A print flattens a landscape into a poster: the distance collapses, and the sky stops being weather. Painted by hand the depth comes back, because the painter mixes a cooler, weaker version of every colour for the far ground and lets the near ground stay loaded.
Every canvas is painted to order, so the quote follows your size, frame and destination rather than a fixed list. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we reply with an exact figure, usually within the hour. You are buying from the workshop, not a catalogue.
Choosing a size
The canvas is cut to your wall. For reference, these are the dimensions clients request most:

The table covers the common cases. Odd proportions are handled the same way. Frames and delivery are priced once you have chosen them. Any duties or import taxes are payable by the buyer (DAP).

It sits naturally on a stairwell wall, where the depth opens the space up. The painter works freehand on a blank canvas, so we keep the proportions of the original rather than cropping to fit — an unusually wide or tall composition stays honest at any size.
The practical questions
What if my wall is an unusual shape?
That is normal for us. Send the measurements and we will work out a canvas proportion that suits the space.
When will it actually arrive?
Studio time is roughly two to four weeks, then a few more days for the oil to set before we can photograph and pack it. We tell you where your canvas is at each stage.
How do I know what size will look right?
Measure the wall and send a photograph. We will say honestly if the canvas you have in mind is too small for the space, which is the most common mistake.
