What to look at
Cleopatralabel QS:Len,"Cleopatra"label QS:Lfr,"Cléopâtre" gives you the place without putting anyone in it. What holds the canvas together is the horizon: low, patient, and the reason the sky feels so much larger than the ground.
Cleopatralabel QS:Len,"Cleopatra"label QS:Lfr,"Cléopâtre". Our painter follows the same logic rather than copying a photograph of it: the far distances go down cool and weak, the near ground stays loaded, and nothing is blended flat.

Why paint it by hand
What you lose in a print is the air. The original puts hazier, cooler paint between you and the horizon; a press prints the haze as a flat wash. Handled by hand the far ground goes back where it belongs.
Every canvas is painted to order, so the quote follows your size, frame and destination rather than a fixed list. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we reply with an exact figure, usually within the hour. There is no agency in between; the studio that paints your canvas is the one answering your messages.
What size works
Because we paint each piece from scratch, you are not limited to stock dimensions. Common choices:
| Size (inches) | Size (cm) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 48 × 36 in | 122 × 91 cm | Large living room, stairwell, loft |
| 40 × 30 in | 102 × 76 cm | Living room focal wall, above a sofa |
| 32 × 24 in | 81 × 61 cm | Living room, above a sideboard |
| 30 × 24 in | 76 × 61 cm | Dining room, bedroom feature wall |
| 24 × 20 in | 60 × 50 cm | Study, home office, above a desk |
These are reference points. We will size the canvas to your wall, not the other way round. Shipping and framing are not included in the canvas quote. Duties and import taxes are for the buyer's account (DAP).
Tell us where it will hang and how big it needs to be — we will price it properly.
💬 Get a Quote for CléopâtreWhere it belongs on a wall
We have painted it most often for clients hanging it in a hallway where the view is the point. Proportions follow the original, not the nearest standard frame size. Anything panoramic or vertical is handled as a matter of course.
What people ask us
Do you frame it?
Framing is quoted separately, so you can decide once you have seen the finished canvas in photographs.
What if it does not look right to me?
We send photographs of the actual painting for your approval before anything ships. That is the moment to tell us what to adjust.
How do I clean and care for it?
Dust lightly with a dry, soft brush and keep it out of direct sun. Nothing else is needed for decades; oil paint is slow to change and easy to live with.
