What to look at
A landscape that refuses to be scenery. Francesco Hayez Il Doge Francesco Foscari obbligato dai tre capi del Consiglio d gives you the place without putting anyone in it, and the brushwork stays visible all the way through — you can read the order it was painted in.
Francesco Hayez Il Doge Francesco Foscari obbligato dai tre capi del Consiglio d. Our painter follows the same logic rather than copying a photograph of it: the far distances go down cool and weak, the near ground stays loaded, and nothing is blended flat.

What a print loses
Landscape is the first thing printing ruins. The press gives you the same green at fifty metres as at five, and the whole point of the picture was that they are not the same green. A painter rebuilds that difference pass by pass, and the depth returns.
Every canvas is painted to order, so the quote follows your size, frame and destination rather than a fixed list. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we reply with an exact figure, usually within the hour. There is no agency in between; the studio that paints your canvas is the one answering your messages.
Sizing it
Because we paint each piece from scratch, you are not limited to stock dimensions. Common choices:
| Size (inches) | Size (cm) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 64 × 48 in | 163 × 122 cm | Villa scale, lobby, hospitality wall |
| 48 × 36 in | 122 × 91 cm | Large living room, stairwell, loft |
| 40 × 30 in | 102 × 76 cm | Living room focal wall, above a sofa |
| 32 × 24 in | 81 × 61 cm | Living room, above a sideboard |
Custom sizes are welcome — if your wall needs something between these, or larger, say so and we will quote it. Shipping and framing are not included in the canvas quote. Duties and import taxes are for the buyer's account (DAP).
Tell us where it will hang and how big it needs to be — we will price it properly.

We have painted it most often for clients hanging it above a console in an entry. Proportions follow the original, not the nearest standard frame size. Anything panoramic or vertical is handled as a matter of course.
Questions worth asking
Does it come with a certificate of authenticity?
No, and we would be wary of anyone who issues one for a public-domain reproduction. What you receive is a hand-painted canvas and photographs of it before it ships.
Is there a rush option?
It depends on the canvas and what else is in the studio. Ask on WhatsApp with your size and we will tell you straight what is possible.
Why not just print it?
A print flattens the surface into a poster: the distance collapses and the highlights turn to grey. Paint keeps the depth and the texture the original was built from.
