Why this one cannot be printed
Interiors live on the grade of light from one window to the far wall. A print compresses that into two tones; a painter keeps ten, and the room goes deep again.

Because we paint each piece from scratch, you are not limited to stock dimensions. Common choices:

The table covers the common cases. Odd proportions are handled the same way. Shipping and framing are not included in the canvas quote. Duties and import taxes are for the buyer's account (DAP).

We have painted it most often for clients hanging it on a stairwell wall, where the depth opens the space up. Proportions follow the original, not the nearest standard frame size. Anything panoramic or vertical is handled as a matter of course.
The practical questions
How close will it be to the original?
The composition, colour and drawing follow the original closely; the brushwork carries the painter's own hand. The painter works freehand on a blank canvas, following the same logic as the original rather than copying a photograph.
Do you work from my own photograph?

When will it actually arrive?
Studio time is roughly two to four weeks, then a few more days for the oil to set before we can photograph and pack it. We tell you where your canvas is at each stage.
