A closer look
There is a whole day's weather in this one. Le harem du palaislabel QS:Lfr,"Le harem du palais" gives you the place without putting anyone in it — and the light is not painted as illumination but as something the surface itself is doing.
Le harem du palaislabel QS:Lfr,"Le harem du palais". Our painter follows the same logic rather than copying a photograph of it: the far distances go down cool and weak, the near ground stays loaded, and nothing is blended flat.

Why this one cannot be printed
A print flattens a landscape into a poster: the distance collapses, and the sky stops being weather. Painted by hand the depth comes back, because the painter mixes a cooler, weaker version of every colour for the far ground and lets the near ground stay loaded.
Every canvas is painted to order, so the quote follows your size, frame and destination rather than a fixed list. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we reply with an exact figure, usually within the hour. You are buying from the workshop, not a catalogue.
What size works
The canvas is cut to your wall. For reference, these are the dimensions clients request most:
| Size (inches) | Size (cm) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 48 × 36 in | 122 × 91 cm | Large living room, stairwell, loft |
| 40 × 30 in | 102 × 76 cm | Living room focal wall, above a sofa |
| 32 × 24 in | 81 × 61 cm | Living room, above a sideboard |
| 30 × 24 in | 76 × 61 cm | Dining room, bedroom feature wall |
| 24 × 20 in | 60 × 50 cm | Study, home office, above a desk |
| 20 × 16 in | 50 × 40 cm | Bedroom, hallway, above a console |
The list is not exhaustive. Send your measurements and we will quote to them. Frames and delivery are priced once you have chosen them. Any duties or import taxes are payable by the buyer (DAP).

💬 Get a Quote for harem-du-palaisWhere it belongs on a wall
It sits naturally in a hallway where the view is the point. The painter works freehand on a blank canvas, so we keep the proportions of the original rather than cropping to fit — an unusually wide or tall composition stays honest at any size.
What people ask us
How do I clean and care for it?
Dust lightly with a dry, soft brush and keep it out of direct sun. Nothing else is needed for decades; oil paint is slow to change and easy to live with.
What size should I order?
You choose the size. Each canvas is cut to your measurements rather than pulled from stock, so tell us the wall dimensions and we will tell you what proportion works.
What if it does not look right to me?
We send photographs of the actual painting for your approval before anything ships. That is the moment to tell us what to adjust.
