The painting itself
Salomé uses an old story to get at something physical. The classical subject is an excuse, really — an opportunity to paint flesh, cloth and light at full stretch.
Salomé. Our painter follows the same logic rather than copying a photograph of it: skin and cloth are given different textures, which is the one thing a printed copy always flattens.

Why paint it by hand
These compositions are an argument about surfaces — soft against heavy, matte against reflective. A press prints them all the same, so the argument goes quiet.

These are reference points. We will size the canvas to your wall, not the other way round. Frames and delivery are priced once you have chosen them. Any duties or import taxes are payable by the buyer (DAP).
