What to look at
Rogier van der Weyden opens the view wide here — Altarpiece of the Virgin gives you the place without putting anyone in it. The land is built in layers, each one a different temperature of the same colour, so the eye walks into the distance instead of stopping at the frame.
Altarpiece of the Virgin. Our painter follows the same logic rather than copying a photograph of it: the far distances go down cool and weak, the near ground stays loaded, and nothing is blended flat.

What a print loses
Landscape is the first thing printing ruins. The press gives you the same green at fifty metres as at five, and the whole point of the picture was that they are not the same green. A painter rebuilds that difference pass by pass, and the depth returns.
Every canvas is painted to order, so the quote follows your size, frame and destination rather than a fixed list. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we reply with an exact figure, usually within the hour. You are talking to the people who will actually paint it, not a middleman.
Canvas sizes
Nothing is pre-made, which means you pick the dimensions. The sizes below cover most requests:
| Size (inches) | Size (cm) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 40 × 30 in | 102 × 76 cm | Living room focal wall, above a sofa |
| 32 × 24 in | 81 × 61 cm | Living room, above a sideboard |
| 30 × 24 in | 76 × 61 cm | Dining room, bedroom feature wall |
| 24 × 20 in | 60 × 50 cm | Study, home office, above a desk |
Larger canvases are possible, and so is anything in between. Just send the size you want. Framing and freight are separate line items. Customs duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility (DAP).
Message us the dimensions you have in mind and we will come back with a figure.

Over a sofa or sideboard — that is where this one settles. We do not crop to fit a stock size. The canvas is cut to the original's proportions, which matters if the composition is unusually wide or tall.
Before you order
Can I resell the reproduction?
Yes. Because the underlying work is in the public domain, the hand-painted canvas is yours to sell, gift or install commercially.
Will it look exactly like the image?
Not exactly, and that is the point — it is a painting, not a scan. Composition, colour and drawing follow the original closely; the surface is where a painter's own decisions show.
Does changing the size change the composition?
No — we keep the original's proportions and scale from there, rather than cropping the image to fit a standard frame.
