What you are looking at
Pond in the Park gives you the place without putting anyone in it. Still water is the subject here, and everything above it — bank, trees, sky — arrives a second time, softer, in the reflection.
Pond in the Park. In our studio the thing that matters is how Wassily Kandinsky actually works: Kandinsky releases colour and line from describing anything, so the canvas works like music.
Why this one has to be painted by hand
The reflection is the whole picture and printing kills it: ink blends on the paper and stays blended. A hand-painted canvas keeps each mark separate and physical, so the water reads as water at two metres and as paint at thirty centimetres.
Every canvas is painted to order, so the quote follows your size, frame and destination rather than a fixed list. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we reply with an exact figure, usually within the hour. You deal directly with the studio that paints it — no reseller layer.

💬 Get a Quote for Pond in the ParkWhere a Pond in the Park hangs best
This one reads well as the calm piece in a busier room. Because the painter works freehand on a blank canvas we keep the proportions of the original rather than cropping to fit, so an unusually wide or tall composition stays honest at any size.
Questions people ask before ordering
What size should I order for Pond in the Park?
Any size you like, because the painter works freehand on a blank canvas. Most collectors choose something between 24 x 20 in and 40 x 30 in for this composition. If your wall needs something else, say so and we quote it.
Is Pond in the Park in the public domain?
Wassily Kandinsky died in 1944, which puts this work in the public domain — commissioning a hand-painted reproduction is legal, and owning one is legal anywhere in the world. We never pass ours off as the original and never issue certificates of authenticity.
How long does a hand-painted version take?
Roughly two to four weeks of studio time depending mostly on size and how much impasto the surface carries, then several more days for the oil to set before we can photograph and pack it. We send photographs of your actual painting for approval before anything ships.
How close will it be to the original?
It is painted by hand from the same image you are looking at, so it is a painting of the painting, not a scan. Expect the composition, colour and drawing to follow the original closely, and expect the brushwork to be our painter's own — that is the point of commissioning one. You approve photographs before it ships.
