What to look at
River landscape with figure in boatlabel QS:Len sets the figures small inside a much larger place. Sky and water are painted with the same pigment, which is why this one reads as weather rather than as a place.
River landscape with figure in boatlabel QS:Len. Our painter follows the same logic rather than copying a photograph of it: each wave is laid as its own loaded stroke, so the water keeps moving as you walk past it.

Why hand-painting matters here
The sea is the hardest subject to reproduce mechanically, because what you are looking at is not water but a series of decisions about where light lands. Those have to be made again, by hand.
Every canvas is painted to order, so the quote follows your size, frame and destination rather than a fixed list. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we reply with an exact figure, usually within the hour. No resellers, no drop-shipper. The painter's studio handles your commission from first message to final crate.
Sizing it
You are choosing the canvas, not picking from stock. These are the sizes that come up most often:
| Size (inches) | Size (cm) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 64 × 48 in | 163 × 122 cm | Villa scale, lobby, hospitality wall |
| 48 × 36 in | 122 × 91 cm | Large living room, stairwell, loft |
| 40 × 30 in | 102 × 76 cm | Living room focal wall, above a sofa |
| 32 × 24 in | 81 × 61 cm | Living room, above a sideboard |
| 30 × 24 in | 76 × 61 cm | Dining room, bedroom feature wall |
Anything outside this table is fine. Give us the measurements and we will work to them. Framing and shipping are quoted separately. Duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility (DAP).
Give us your size and framing preference and you will have a quote shortly.

This one reads well in a room that already reads cool or grey. Nothing gets cropped to suit a standard canvas. We build to the original's dimensions and scale from there.
Questions worth asking
How long does a hand-painted version take?
Roughly two to four weeks of studio time, depending mostly on size and how much impasto the surface carries, then several more days for the oil to set before we photograph, pack and send.
Why not just print it?
A print flattens the surface into a poster: the distance collapses and the highlights turn to grey. Paint keeps the depth and the texture the original was built from.
Can I see progress photos while it is being painted?
We send photographs of the finished painting for approval before it ships. Mid-process images are not part of the standard workflow.
