What the painter is doing here
Jean-Joseph Benjamin-Constant opens the view wide here — Eugénie Ritterlabel QS:Len,"Eugénie Ritter" gives you the place without putting anyone in it. The land is built in layers, each one a different temperature of the same colour, so the eye walks into the distance instead of stopping at the frame.
Eugénie Ritterlabel QS:Len,"Eugénie Ritter". Our painter follows the same logic rather than copying a photograph of it: the far distances go down cool and weak, the near ground stays loaded, and nothing is blended flat.

Why this one cannot be printed
A print flattens a landscape into a poster: the distance collapses, and the sky stops being weather. Painted by hand the depth comes back, because the painter mixes a cooler, weaker version of every colour for the far ground and lets the near ground stay loaded.
Every canvas is painted to order, so the quote follows your size, frame and destination rather than a fixed list. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we reply with an exact figure, usually within the hour. There is no agency in between; the studio that paints your canvas is the one answering your messages.
What size works
Because we paint each piece from scratch, you are not limited to stock dimensions. Common choices:
| Size (inches) | Size (cm) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 24 × 20 in | 60 × 50 cm | Study, home office, above a desk |
| 20 × 16 in | 50 × 40 cm | Bedroom, hallway, above a console |
| 16 × 12 in | 40 × 30 cm | A shelf, a small wall, a gallery group |
| 64 × 48 in | 163 × 122 cm | Villa scale, lobby, hospitality wall |
| 48 × 36 in | 122 × 91 cm | Large living room, stairwell, loft |
| 40 × 30 in | 102 × 76 cm | Living room focal wall, above a sofa |
The list is not exhaustive. Send your measurements and we will quote to them. Shipping and framing are not included in the canvas quote. Duties and import taxes are for the buyer's account (DAP).
Tell us where it will hang and how big it needs to be — we will price it properly.
💬 Get a Quote for ConstantWhere it belongs on a wall
We have painted it most often for clients hanging it on a large living room wall where it can be read from across the room. Proportions follow the original, not the nearest standard frame size. Anything panoramic or vertical is handled as a matter of course.
What people ask us
When will it actually arrive?
Studio time is roughly two to four weeks, then a few more days for the oil to set before we can photograph and pack it. We tell you where your canvas is at each stage.
Is it legal to own a reproduction?
Yes. The painting is in the public domain, so reproducing it is legal and owning one is legal anywhere in the world. We never pass ours off as the original.
Do you frame it?
Framing is quoted separately, so you can decide once you have seen the finished canvas in photographs.
