What is actually happening
A landscape that refuses to be scenery. The witchlabel QS:Len,"The witch"label QS:Lde,"Die Hexe" gives you the place without putting anyone in it, and the brushwork stays visible all the way through — you can read the order it was painted in.
The witchlabel QS:Len,"The witch"label QS:Lde,"Die Hexe". Our painter follows the same logic rather than copying a photograph of it: the far distances go down cool and weak, the near ground stays loaded, and nothing is blended flat.

What a print loses
Landscape is the first thing printing ruins. The press gives you the same green at fifty metres as at five, and the whole point of the picture was that they are not the same green. A painter rebuilds that difference pass by pass, and the depth returns.
Every canvas is painted to order, so the quote follows your size, frame and destination rather than a fixed list. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we reply with an exact figure, usually within the hour. No resellers, no drop-shipper. The painter's studio handles your commission from first message to final crate.
Canvas sizes
You are choosing the canvas, not picking from stock. These are the sizes that come up most often:
| Size (inches) | Size (cm) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 40 × 30 in | 102 × 76 cm | Living room focal wall, above a sofa |
| 32 × 24 in | 81 × 61 cm | Living room, above a sideboard |
| 30 × 24 in | 76 × 61 cm | Dining room, bedroom feature wall |
| 24 × 20 in | 60 × 50 cm | Study, home office, above a desk |
Larger canvases are possible, and so is anything in between. Just send the size you want. Framing and shipping are quoted separately. Duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility (DAP).
Give us your size and framing preference and you will have a quote shortly.

This one reads well over a sofa or sideboard. Nothing gets cropped to suit a standard canvas. We build to the original's dimensions and scale from there.
Before you order
Is it really painted by hand?
Yes. We hand-paint from public-domain source images, do not sell prints, and never claim the original.
Does changing the size change the composition?
No — we keep the original's proportions and scale from there, rather than cropping the image to fit a standard frame.
Can I resell the reproduction?
Yes. Because the underlying work is in the public domain, the hand-painted canvas is yours to sell, gift or install commercially.
