What to look at
This is a painting about a surface. Canal de Mahmoudieh à Alexandrie le soir gives you the place without putting anyone in it, and the reflection is not a mirror but a slower, warmer version of the same world.
Canal de Mahmoudieh à Alexandrie le soir. Our painter follows the same logic rather than copying a photograph of it: the reflection is built separately from the object reflecting, so the two stay slightly apart the way they do in life.

What makes it hard to copy
Reflections only work if the paint stays separate — a press fuses everything into one muddy tone. Laid in stroke by stroke, the surface holds both readings at once: water from across the room, paint up close.
Every canvas is painted to order, so the quote follows your size, frame and destination rather than a fixed list. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we reply with an exact figure, usually within the hour. You are talking to the people who will actually paint it, not a middleman.
Choosing a size
Nothing is pre-made, which means you pick the dimensions. The sizes below cover most requests:
| Size (inches) | Size (cm) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 32 × 24 in | 81 × 61 cm | Living room, above a sideboard |
| 30 × 24 in | 76 × 61 cm | Dining room, bedroom feature wall |
| 24 × 20 in | 60 × 50 cm | Study, home office, above a desk |
| 20 × 16 in | 50 × 40 cm | Bedroom, hallway, above a console |
Every size here is a guide. Tell us what you need and we will build the canvas to suit. Framing and freight are separate line items. Customs duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility (DAP).
Message us the dimensions you have in mind and we will come back with a figure.

In a bedroom, opposite the foot of the bed — that is where this one settles. We do not crop to fit a stock size. The canvas is cut to the original's proportions, which matters if the composition is unusually wide or tall.
The practical questions
How do I know what size will look right?
Measure the wall and send a photograph. We will say honestly if the canvas you have in mind is too small for the space, which is the most common mistake.
Do you work from my own photograph?
Yes, though that is a separate service. This page is for a hand-painted version of {title}; for a photo-to-painting commission, send the image on WhatsApp.
How close will it be to the original?
The composition, colour and drawing follow the original closely; the brushwork carries the painter's own hand. The painter works freehand on a blank canvas, following the same logic as the original rather than copying a photograph.
