A closer look
A landscape that refuses to be scenery. Ritratto di Francesco delle Opere Portrait of Francesco delle Operetitle di Fra gives you the place without putting anyone in it, and the brushwork stays visible all the way through — you can read the order it was painted in.
Ritratto di Francesco delle Opere Portrait of Francesco delle Operetitle di Fra. Our painter follows the same logic rather than copying a photograph of it: the far distances go down cool and weak, the near ground stays loaded, and nothing is blended flat.

Why paint it by hand
What you lose in a print is the air. The original puts hazier, cooler paint between you and the horizon; a press prints the haze as a flat wash. Handled by hand the far ground goes back where it belongs.
Every canvas is painted to order, so the quote follows your size, frame and destination rather than a fixed list. Tell us what you need on WhatsApp and we reply with an exact figure, usually within the hour. You are buying from the workshop, not a catalogue.
What size works
The canvas is cut to your wall. For reference, these are the dimensions clients request most:
| Size (inches) | Size (cm) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 48 × 36 in | 122 × 91 cm | Large living room, stairwell, loft |
| 40 × 30 in | 102 × 76 cm | Living room focal wall, above a sofa |
| 32 × 24 in | 81 × 61 cm | Living room, above a sideboard |
| 30 × 24 in | 76 × 61 cm | Dining room, bedroom feature wall |
| 24 × 20 in | 60 × 50 cm | Study, home office, above a desk |
These are reference points. We will size the canvas to your wall, not the other way round. Frames and delivery are priced once you have chosen them. Any duties or import taxes are payable by the buyer (DAP).

It sits naturally in a hallway where the view is the point. The painter works freehand on a blank canvas, so we keep the proportions of the original rather than cropping to fit — an unusually wide or tall composition stays honest at any size.
What people ask us
What if it does not look right to me?
We send photographs of the actual painting for your approval before anything ships. That is the moment to tell us what to adjust.
Do you frame it?
Framing is quoted separately, so you can decide once you have seen the finished canvas in photographs.
How long does a hand-painted version take?
Roughly two to four weeks of studio time, depending mostly on size and how much impasto the surface carries, then several more days for the oil to set before we photograph, pack and send.
