Vincent van Gogh paintings we have in stock
Every canvas below is painted by hand in oil on real artist canvas by our studio painters in Dafen Village, Shenzhen. Pick a size, pick a frame, and we send photographs of the finished painting for your approval before anything ships.
Why Van Gogh is the hardest painter to fake — and the easiest to spot
A printed Van Gogh looks acceptable in a product photo and wrong on a real wall. The reason is stroke direction. Van Gogh laid paint in loaded, directional strokes that follow the form of the thing he was painting — the twist of a petal, the roll of a wheat field, the swirl of a night sky. Under raking light those ridges catch and throw shadow, which is what makes the painting feel alive.
A print gives you the colour and none of that movement. The surface is flat, the strokes are a photograph of strokes, and the canvas goes dead the moment daylight moves across it. That is the difference our clients notice first when they unwrap a hand-painted canvas.
How our painters reproduce Van Gogh
- Ground and drawing. Artist-grade linen or cotton canvas, sized and primed, then the composition drawn in thin umber — freehand, never projected or traced from a print.
- Blocking in. The big colour masses go down first, mixed toward the original's palette rather than matched from a screen, because screens lie about yellow.
- The stroke pass. This is where a Van Gogh becomes a Van Gogh. Paint goes on loaded and directional, following the form, with the palette knife only where he used one.
- Drying and glazing. Layered oil needs real drying time between passes. We do not rush it — a forced-dry impasto cracks within a year.
Every finished canvas is photographed and checked against the original for colour harmony, stroke direction and detail before it is offered to you for approval.

How much does a hand-painted Van Gogh cost?
Est. $369 to $1,499 depending mainly on canvas size, from 16 x 20 in up to 47 x 63 in. Framing and shipping are quoted separately. Send us the painting and size for an exact quote.
Can I order a Van Gogh that is not listed here?
Yes. Van Gogh painted roughly 900 canvases and we photograph new ones constantly. Send us the name of any Van Gogh work and we will hand-paint it to your size — Starry Night, Self-Portraits, Irises, Bedroom in Arles and the rest.
Is it legal to buy a Van Gogh reproduction?

How long does it take?
Most take 2 to 4 weeks depending on size and the studio queue. Layered oil needs proper drying time. The timeline is confirmed in writing before any deposit.
